Custom Marbled Textiles & Color Development
Each textile begins as a one-of-a-kind surface.
Paint is floated on water, guided through movement, and transferred to fabric in a single moment, capturing something that can never be repeated. From there, it becomes material. Material that can be shaped, cut, and transformed into objects, pillows, bags, and truly unique pieces designed around color, pattern and form.
What I Offer
Custom Textile Panels
I create original marbled fabric panels in custom color palettes and pattern styles. These are developed specifically for your project and can be used across a range of applications.
Color Story Development
If you’re working within a specific palette or concept, I can develop textiles that align with your direction whether that’s bold contrast, soft tonal layering, or structured pattern work.
Application & Translation
Each panel can be designed with its end use in mind, whether for pillows, soft goods, or other textile-based pieces. Placement and composition can be considered from the start.
How It Works
We start with a direction.
You can come with a color palette, reference, or simply a feeling you want to capture. From there, I develop a series of marbled studies, refining the balance between color, movement, and structure.
Once a direction is established, the final textile panel is created.
From that panel, pieces can be cut and developed into finished forms or used as raw material depending on your project.
What You Receive
Depending on your project needs and desires, you may receive:
• A full, one-of-a-kind marbled textile panel
• Custom-developed color studies
• Fabric ready to be translated into finished pieces
• Guidance on how the textile can be applied
Each piece is original. There are no repeats.
